“Ivan Mazepa and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” Exhibition →
(updated) On January 22, 2010 in the premise of the Museum of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (NaUKMA, 2, Skovoroda street, building of the Holy Spirit church) the exhibition “Ivan Mazepa and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” was opened. This exhibition is dedicated to Ivan Mazepa, one of the major patrons of the Academy and its graduate. The basis of the exhibition is made of Ivan Mazepa images and copies of eulogistic theses in his honour (from museum and library collections in Ukraine, Russia and Poland).

Presentation of the collected materials from the conference “Poltava battle dated 1709…” →
On December 23, 2009 in the premise of the museum “Field of Poltava battle” the presentation of the collected materials from the International scientific and practical conference “Poltava battle dated 1709 in the historical fate of Ukraine, Russia, Sweden and other states” took place. The materials included into collection represent the extended and supplemented reports of the conference participants.

On December 26, 2009 in Prague in the premise of the well-known Slavic library the exhibition titled “Ivan Mazepa and the European context” was opened. The particularity of this event consists in fact that this is the first post-war exhibition in Czech Republic which is dedicated to one of the most attractive and most famous representatives of Ukraine in Europe — Ivan Mazepa. International conference “Poltava 1709. Revisiting a Turning Point in European History” →
On November 10-11, 2009 at Harvard University the international conference “Poltava 1709. Revisiting a Turning Point in European History” was held. The organizer of the scientific event is the Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts) with assistance of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the University of Alberta (Edmonton) and the Woodrow Wilson International Centre (Washington).
Heading “Movies”, new materials →
At once five new articles made a start of the section “Movies” (since February 2010 this section has the heading “Video and audio”), which complemented “Mazepiana”. This is the list of the movies dedicated to Ivan Mazepa, photos from the shooting site of the movie “Prayer for hetman Mazepa”, shots from rare movies shoot in 1909 and 1914 , as well as the modern movie “Ukrainian ways: from Sumy to Baturyn» produced by «Akademia-TV» studio in 2008.
