Stanisław I Leszczyński Stanisław I Leszczyński (1677 – 1766) – the Polish king in 1704-1712, duke of Lorraine. The son of the bearer of the crown Rafał Leszczyński and the grandson of the great crown hetman Stanisław Jabłonowski, he belonged to one of the richest and powerful magnate families of Rzecz Pospolita. He started his political career after educational travel across Europe traditional to magnate youth, одержавши уряд коронного підчашого (1697) і воєводи познанського (1699).
